Until July 2014, Crispin was the Managing Director of Old Mutual's Retail Mass Cluster and oversaw more than 7000 staff across the lending, group insurance, iWyze short-term insurance and Foundation Market business units.

Before that, he occupied the role of the Executive General Manager for Old Mutual's Personal Financial Advice and Private Wealth; Marketing, Corporate Affairs, and Communications Director for Old Mutual Emerging Markets; and was CEO and founder of a range of entrepreneurial ventures in IT, financial services and mining.

He is currently chairperson of Foodbank South Africa, serves on the board of Frontier Rare Earths in Luxembourg and is a member of the Board of Advisors at the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town.

He holds Bachelors in both Social Science and Humanities from the University of Cape Town, an Honours in Business and Administration from Stellenbosch Business School and has completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program (AMP).

After he matriculated in 2005, Vincent enrolled at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) where he successfully completed his certification in Public Relations Management. He then worked for the telecommunications giant, Vodacom for two years. Next, he decided to further his education at the AAA School of Advertising where he studied Marketing and Communication.

Vincent has been passionate about the entertainment industry for almost his whole life and has performed at multiple large events all around the country since the age of 16. He also co-hosted a radio show at Bush Radio, the local radio station in Cape Town.

Vincent has also managed to maintain a great balance in not only focusing on only his business but also dedicating a lot of time in improving himself as a stronger entrepreneur. In 2010 he was selected to be part of the Raymond Ackerman Academy (RAA) for Entrepreneurs at the University of Cape Town (UCT) Graduate School of Business, where he graduated with a certification in Specialized Entrepreneurship. He also won the Best Business Plan Award at RAA. Furthermore, he recently graduated at the prestigious Entrepreneurship Programme at the Louis Group Business Academy through the University of Stellenbosch. In 2013 He was named as one of Khayelitsha’s 30 official ambassadors who have helped shape Khayelitsha with a population of 1,5 million people in the last 30 years of its existence to what it is today. A thriving community. Recently he was also named alongside Luvuyo and Nick Kaoma as the Glenfiddich Maverick for 2015.

Vincent co-owns a Marketing and Communications company called ikapalive with Loyiso Mdebuka, the aim to re-position the perception about the township. They specialise in Market insight, PR and Eventing one of their flagship initiatives in the popular Ikasi Experience which is hosted around the country. He is incredibly passionate about entrepreneurship and the potential South Africa has as a nation. He is now the Co-MD of Blank Kanvas under the Gamiro-ISI Group.

Over the years he has provided strategic, transformational and operational improvement advice to largely energy and resources clients in Sub-Saharan Africa and South East Asia (SEA); presented papers at the several Coaltrans and McKloskey conferences; and contributed or co-authored several papers on mining, and oil and gas.
